Passing Law Entrance exam and entering Sri Lanka Law College is less time consuming and inexpensive.A student who enters Sri Lanka Law College has to sit 3 examinations at the end of first 3 years at Law College. Then by completing 6 months of apprenticeship period the student will be called to the Bar.(take oaths as an Attorney-at-Law / becoming a Lawyer). Sri Lanka Law College & a Law Faculty in a university are very different from each other. Normally a student who get selected to a Law Faculty has to spend four academic years,then again should pass the final year exam in Sri Lanka Law College and thereafter has to complete a 6 month apprenticeship period. Therefore, if you can pass the Law Entrance and directly enter into Law College it would be easiest, time-consuming and highly profitable way for you in every aspects.

The Law Entrance paper consist of questions from Language, General Intelligence and General Knowledge. It’s not as same as any other competitive exam.
